Early Bird Gets the Worm…did you Catch Yours?

Holiday greetings!

How many of you are reading this and already back this morning from shopping at 5:00 am where you battled the mall traffic for a parking spot and then crazy shoppes to get “the buy” of the season? Or many you are checking out specials online and getting ready to leave and shop till you drop.

As we know, the day after Thanksgiving officially kicks off the holiday shopping season. This season as you identify those who will receive a gift, I hope you will give some thought to the actual gift. Remember gifts that you give to others say a lot about you. They help to enhance or lessen your personal and professional image and brand.

Have you not received a gift and once you see the contents, you may say something like “I knew this would be the gift, cheap just like Joe”. Such comments reflect on you. If your gift looks like it was picked up at the corner drug store in a hurry no less, it will not reflect positively on you. It is not necessarily the price of the gift; it is the thoughtfulness that accompanies it.
