Today I received the first of many fall catalogs to come my way. It is exciting to receive them and I love seeing the first glimpses of the fall palette.
Each season the team at the Pantone Color Institute creates the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report; a color overview highlighting the top colors fashion designers will be featuring in their collections for the upcoming season. With color on the catwalk a key indicator of the color stories we can expect to see showing up across all areas of design.
Autumnal hues that evoke the feeling of leaves on the forest floor, rich plumage and twilight reveal a modern fall palette of deep and rich tones with outbursts of colorful surprise. I think you will enjoy them and find ways to use them in your wardrobe successfully. My favorite is the Martini Olive as it reminds me of James Bond! He liked his Martinis “shaken and not stirred”. I recently got an olive skirt, boots, leggings and a sweater and eager for the first cool air to arrive to wear them.
The Fall 2018 Palette is comprised of ten beautiful colors. The names and descriptions are below. Also check out my video showcasing these colors on TheMagnolia.TV
